MAMMOGRAPHY

 Vero Radiology Associates Women's Imaging Center offers state of the art GE Senographe DS and Essential digital mammography with computer aided detection. Electronic image of the breast are taken with adequate compression. The images are sent to a computer for the radiologist to review. Digital mammography allows the radiologist to manipulate the contrast, magnification and brightness of the images after your exam is complete often eliminating the need for repeat images. Digital mammography provides a faster yet more efficient exam for the patient. Please allow 15-30 minutes for your exam.

MAMMOGRAM EXAM PREP
- No deodorant, powder or perfume, day of exam.
- If possible, wear a two-piece outfit.
- Bring the name and address of the facility where previous mammograms were obtained.
- Please bring any information or prescriptions your doctor may have given you
