MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI)
Accredited by the American College of Radiology

MRI is one of the best imaging modalities available because of its contrast abilities between muscle, fat, vessels, tendons, ligaments, cartilage and bone.

MRI is used for diagnosing many of the following diseases:

  • Breast Disorders
  • Brain Disorders
  • Traumatic Injuries
  • Eye Abnormalities
  • Spine Disease
  • Liver and other Abdominal Diseases
  • Knee and Shoulder Injuries
  • Infections
  • Musculoskeletal Disorders
  • Tumor Detection
  • Female Pelvic disorders
  • Facial/Neck Abnormalities

Vero Radiology is also able to perform MR Angiography (MRA) studies, which is a study of the blood vessels. An MRA study is able to detect, diagnose and aid in the treatment of the following conditions:

  • PVD (Peripheral Vascular Disease)
  • Stroke
  • Renal Artery Disease
  • Blood Vessel Diseases
  • Carotid Artery Blockages

Vero Radiology offers the highest field strength available in a clinical setting, the GE 3T Excite HDXT. This 3T magnet is the latest evolution in MRI healthcare, doubling the strength of existing MRI equipment. This means higher detailed images from head to toe with more accuracy, delivering more definitive diagnoses.

With a high field strength magnet, we are able to produce images that some other magnets cannot.
